"Rally à la Carte" is a new concept to help promote RallyCross in Florida by putting the scheduling in the hands of the competitors.  By using the new "Rally à la Carte" section in the forums, competitors can coordinate the best date to allow for the greatest number of entrants.  Here's how the initial phase will proceed:  A minimum of 20 entrants agree upon a date and confirm with RallyRebels.com and the Florida Region SCCA.  Once confirmed, the 20 entrants pre-pay the entry to secure the event sanction and the event site as chosen by the entrants (either Fort Meade or Homestead).  The entry fees must be received in full at least 30 days prior to the event for proper sanctioning and to allow preparation at the chosen site.  RallyRebels.com will then publish the event online and also will promote for additional entrants.  The advantage of the concept is more flexibility for the competitors in actually choosing when to have an event, and also provide incentive for others interested by guaranteeing a certain attendance and thus ensuring competitive class stratification.
